Mission Statement
At Northern Quality Dental, we are committed to providing the highest quality dentistry in a comfortable, caring and fun atmosphere! We understand that most people do not like visits to the dentist, but we do our best to make sure our patients actually enjoy their time with us.
We try to offer our patients the entire spectrum of dentistry “in-house” so they can avoid the delay of waiting to see a specialist. However, if Dr. Seymour feels that you might be better served by seeing a specialist, we will help coordinate those visits for you.
To fulfill this mission, we are committed to:
- Listening to those we are privileged to serve.
- Earn the trust and respect of patients, profession and community.
- Exceed your expectations.
- Ensure a creative, challenging and compassionate professional environment.
- Strive for continuous improvement at all levels.

What To Expect
Your initial visit when becoming new patient will include updating your x-rays, a comprehensive exam by Dr. Seymour, hard tissue charting (adding all of your previous dental work to your digital chart), periodontal charting (probing to determine pocket depths of your gums), a routine cleaning or advice and education about the type of cleaning you might need (if your cleanings have not been routine).
If your first visit to our office is problem focused, we’ll begin with an x-ray of the problem area, an “interview” to determine your symptoms, and an exam by Dr. Seymour to confirm a diagnosis.
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. Also, take some time to review our team page and familiarize yourself with the doctors. We look forward to your first visit.
